Senior Technician: Maintenance at GWK Beperk/Limited

The maintenance and upgrading of the facility to ensure continuous production and safety.

Core Tasks: 

• Adhere to the Health and Safety Act;
• Work according to national Transformers quality standards, follow procedures and instructions;
• Responsible for electric and mechanical breakdowns;
• Preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and new installations, ensuring that 100% uptime of factory equipment is available to production through preventative and corrective maintenance;
• Fault Finding, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC);
• Performing administrative tasks.

Requirements:

The candidate must have the following:

• Grade 12 certificate with Mathematics or Physical Science and a completed fitter apprenticeship.
• Electrical Red Seal Trade
• Preference will be given to candidates with exposure on automatic lines.
• Minimum of 3 Years’ Experience in a factory Maintenance Environments
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in packaging equipment.
