Senior Test Analyst at AES Africa

Job Context

Fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Test Analyst to be part of a dynamic team, within a highly reputable Asset Management company in Cape Town! You will need to be highly experienced in wrighting code and automation, using SQL and JavaScript as this is vital to being successful in the role.

Day to day:

• Designing and creating test cases
• Executing test cases manually and automated
• Manual front end functional testing of applications
• Develop test tools
• Final sign-off of new releases
• Ensuring a smooth deployment process
• Ensuing product quality thereby limiting defects

Qualifications:

• BCom Degree in Computer Science or Business Information Systems

Knowledge and Skills:

A minimum of 6 to 8 years experience as a Test Analyst, with advanced skills using the following programs and languages;

• JavaScript
• SQL
• Scala - ideal but not compusory
• You know where it is most effective for an automated test to live. (Unit, Integration, E2E)
