Senior Travel Consultant – Luxury African Safaris (Inbound)A leading inbound travel company specialising in luxury African safari experiences is looking for an experienced Senior Travel Consultant to design and manage bespoke luxury itineraries to a range of African countries: Botswana, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Namibia, Zambia. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-driven travel professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Minimum Requirements
3–5 years' experience in inbound luxury safari travel consulting
Proven experience selling Botswana and Zimbabwe safari destinations
Reliable transport
Able to work in-office for a minimum of three days per week
Strong understanding of the reservations process, including quoting, booking, invoicing and travel documentation
Experience using Tourplan or a similar reservations system
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Outstanding communication and client service skills
Able to manage multiple bookings and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full reservations process from quotation through to final travel documentation
Create personalised luxury safari itineraries tailored to client requirements
Process bookings accurately and liaise with suppliers to secure confirmations
Follow up on provisional bookings and ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate special guest requests and ensure seamless travel arrangements
Monitor deposits and payments while assisting with invoice queries where required
Maintain accurate booking records and documentation
Provide exceptional client support before and during travel
Attend supplier training and stay up to date with destination knowledge
Assist with general operational duties and escalate issues where necessary
