    Service Advisor

    Job Description

    • A dynamic automotive company is looking for an experienced Service Advisor with strong customer service skills and workshop coordination experience. The ideal candidate will manage customer interactions, workshop scheduling, and administrative duties while ensuring smooth communication between clients and technicians.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet customers, understand their vehicle concerns, and provide clear explanations of required work and associated costs.
    • Book vehicles for diagnostics, services, and repairs; monitor job progress and provide regular updates to customers.
    • Handle customer queries, complaints, approvals for additional work, and follow-ups professionally.
    • Open, manage, and accurately maintain job cards; capture customer and vehicle details, attach reports, and close job cards with invoicing.
    • Coordinate parts and suppliers: request quotes, place orders, follow up on deliveries, and manage returns as needed.
    • Schedule jobs with the workshop team, monitor turnaround times, and ensure urgent or priority jobs are handled efficiently.
    • Prepare invoices, confirm payments, and liaise with accounts to ensure vehicles are released only after payment.
    • Follow up on outstanding quotes and keep customers informed via WhatsApp, calls, and emails.

    Requirements:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven customer service experience and administrative accuracy.
    • Ability to multitask, stay organised, and pay attention to detail.
    • Proficient with WhatsApp, email, and general computer systems.
    • Experience in automotive workshops, understanding of vehicle repairs, familiarity with job cards and invoicing, and experience handling customer complaints.
    • Reliable, punctual, professional, calm under pressure, proactive, honest, and takes ownership of tasks.
