• We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Service Department Manager to oversee a high-volume, multi-department environment. Based in Springbok.
• This role requires a strong leader with solid financial acumen, a passion for food excellence, and the ability to manage operations efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operations: Oversee Bakery.
• Profitability: Drive GP% through strict recipe adherence and waste management.
• Planning: Ensure accurate production planning aligned to sales demand.
• Control: Manage ordering, inventory, and shrinkage within all departments.
• Development: Train and develop staff on processes and service excellence.

Requirements: 

• Grade 12/Matric
• Relevant Diploma in Retail/Bakery/Food Services is advantageous.
• 3–5 Years Experience in a multi-department food environment – Wholesale & Retail.
• Financial Acumen: Experience managing GP, COS, waste, and budgets.
• Technical Skills: Food costing, recipe control, stock management.
• Leadership: Strong team development and high-pressure performance.
• Standards: High attention to detail and food safety/hygiene excellence.
