You will be working as Service Technician and will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Longmeadow, South Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Service Manager and will be responsible to execute service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB standard processes and safety guidelines, deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers, in close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams.
Your responsibilities
Performing service tasks, identifying technical problems and making analysis in any service categories.
Contributing to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation
Preparing all documents and reporting to be signed by client
Troubleshooting equipment failure and making recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future
Proactively identifying suggestions for product and quality improvement
Applying safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities
Your background
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field / Trade Tested with a minimum N4 qualification.
2 - 4 years work experience
Ability to communicate effectively on all levels, be able to work under pressure
Analytical and problem-solving skills a must, computer literacy, prepared to travel locally as and when required in an emergency situation
