A listed and established Training Provider seeks a proactive, 'on the ball' SETA Manager to ensure that learner registrations meet established standards and timelines, while maintaining minimum requirements of accessibility, reliability, and performance for the learnership compliance lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Set and Maintain high standards of national projects SETA administration
Ensure high standard of national SETA administrative duties in terms of SETA compliance and in line with company requirements as well as SETA processes, procedures and legislation
Ensure required submissions meet timelines in terms of administrative requirements in line with company and SETA requirements
Constant training of project personnel; administrators, interns and project managers on SETA related administrative requirements within the division and on all new SETA updates
Build and maintain relationship within the SETA (QAP) landscape
Manage the quality control process with the SETA Unit
Approval of all submissions to the SETA or QAPs for the learnership life cycle.
Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications. assessing customer requirements as per PN and ensuring that these are met.
Managing the operations and services in the SETA Unit aiming to the long-term success of our business.
Devising procedures to inspect and report quality assurance issues
Monitoring all operations that affect quality
Supervising and guiding inspectors, technicians, and other staff
Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
Monitor all operations within that affect quality
Supervise and guide SETA administrators and Learner Administrators
Report all risks and opportunities for continuance improvement of the learner registration, and external moderation process to production executives to ensure immediate action
Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data
Review current standards and policies
Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
Ensure all legal standards are met
Communicate with project coordinators
Manage SETA site visits
Manage the feedback loop outstanding reports, certificates, letters
Check for registered skills programmes against new accreditations and extension of scope received
Audit all relevant documents filed on the shared server and acknowledgement of receipts filed in the relevant files
Keep abreast of legislative, SETA, QCTO and other authorities’ new developments and how they affect the business
Keep progression report on all tasks undertaken for weekly and monthly feedback reporting purposes
Keep management reports up to date
Audit the projects for to ensure Internal / External Moderation occur when required and are of a high standard
Ensure all internal moderator report recommendations are implemented and filed
Manage external SETA /NAMB moderations
Be present and represent the business at SETA site visits
Requirements:
Minimum 7-8 years experience in a similar role or industry
