    SHE Representative (Pretoria)

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    • Grade 12
    • Drivers License Code B (Code 8), beneficial.
    • Health & Safety Rep (3 Day Course)
    • First Aid Level 1 - 3
    • Basic Fire Fighting
    • Accident & Incident Investigation, beneficial.
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in health and safety in the construction industry
    • Experience at Ford Silverton Plant would be very beneficial.

    DUTIES:

    • A SHE Representative may perform the following functions in respect of the workplace or section of the workplace for which he has been designated, namely:
    • Review the effectiveness of health, safety and environmental measures.
    • Identify hazards and risks at the workplace.
    • Assist the Safety Officer with various SHE requests.
    • Assist with the investigation of incidents/accidents that occur in the workplace.
    • Inspect documents relevant to SHE in the workplace.
    • Maintain SHE file paperwork weekly/monthly.
