    Requirements    

    • NATIONAL DIPLOMA  
    • 4 – 6 years relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques, and processes at the required level within the FMCG/Food manufacturing Industry  
    • Business English: Fluent 
    • Computer literacy (Basic)  
    • 2 – 3 years Supervisory of staff experience
    • Able to work shifts/weekends/public holidays.

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    Ensure quality assurance.  

    • Apply quality assurance to the process and ensure integrity of the product. 
    • Control inputs and outputs of the manufacturing and/or packaging process. 
    • Ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP) are in place and adhered to  
    • Maintain good housekeeping (5S)  

    Ensure correct use of equipment.  

    • Conduct first-line maintenance and inspections.  
    • Oversee the processing and packaging of product.  
    • Follow standard operating procedure (SOP)  
    • Ensure cleaning in place (CIP) procedures are followed.  

    Manage staff.   

    • Ensure optimal utilization of staff.  
    • Apply consistent discipline.  
    • Train and develop staff.  
    • Conduct meetings and ensure effective communication with all.  
    • Establish continuous improvement practices.  
    • Liaise and communicate with management in all departments.  
    • Provide leadership and training to artisans.  
    • Set objectives, manage, and measure performance of subordinates.
