Shift Supervisor - Cornubia at Freedom Stationery (Pty) LTD

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate factory workers during assigned shifts
• Ensure daily production targets and deadlines are achieved
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards
• Enforce health and safety procedures at all times
• Manage shift attendance
• Train and support production staff
• Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate where necessary
• Maintain accurate production and incident reports
• Minimize downtime and reduce waste

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate is essential
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Production Management, Operations Management, or a related field will be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a stationery manufacturing operation
• Proven supervisory or team leader experience
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime when required
