Job Advert Summary    

• The successful candidate will supervise staff on shift, ensure operational procedures are followed, and maintain company standards. The role requires hands-on supervision, adherence to health and safety, food safety requirements, and the ability to work overtime as operationally required.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to work Sundays, Public holidays and overtime when required
• Ability to work in a freezer/cold storage environment
• Good leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Food Safety Regulations
• Computer literate- Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
• Good health- Pass Medical Fitness examination
• Clear Criminal record
• Own transport

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Supervise warehouse staff during shifts
• Accurately supervise the loading of the company's refrigerated vehicles
• Accurate offloading of supplier delivery vehicles
• Ensure procedures, productivity, and company standards are met
• Maintain strict adherence and compliance to health and safety, food safety regulations, policies & procedures
• Support efficient stock handling, control, and workflow
• Assist with stock takes
• Assist with debriefing of company delivery vehicles when required
• Assist with discipline and performance management where required
