Shift Supervisor at Country Bird Holdings Ltd (CBH)

Job Advert Summary    

• A vacancy exists for a Shift Supervisor in the Cold Store / Logistics keeping / Dispatch Department at our Mahikeng Processing Plant. The successful candidate must ensure that the correct stock is loaded for the individual customer. All relevant documentation relates to the correct loading and receiving of stock. Correct SOP's are adhered to by all employees.

Minimum Requirements    

• Matric (Grade 12) is a minimum requirement.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to follow lawful instructions and maintain high personal discipline.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Ensure correct stock is loaded per customer order, with accurate documentation.
• Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed by employees.
• Conduct hourly inspections of the holding room, racking system, and temperature controls.
• Schedule and coordinate trucks with Transport Company and monitor loading schedules.
• Maintain daily housekeeping, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Oversee and inspect the loading area trucks, forklifts, and reach trucks daily.
• Ensure all Cold Store files, records, and reports are up to date and accurate.
• Ensure Translution balance daily with Syspro.
• Participate in weekly and monthly stock takes, mock recalls, and variance investigations.
• Invoice trucks using Translution and Syspro systems.
