Shift Supervisor Mining Training at Anglo American

Job Description:
You will take on a range of different tasks under the direction of your team leader:

• Ensure that training is conducted timeously and accurately
• Meet deadline for training report according to Anglo American Standards
• Ensure that all fatal errors are cleared on the system daily
• Conduct the internal audit
• Prepare files and reports within the department
• Clear all scheduled jobs, requests and ensure that they are completed on timeously
• Ensure that records are filled and captured for audit purpose
• Printing report on the daily
• Problem solving for employee’s information
• Execution and delivery of all technical mining skills training phases in the underground (constrained) environment.
• Facilitate progressive reports on predetermined targets for mining skills development.

This role is in the HRD department at a C5 level reporting to the HRD Officer

Qualifications:
The following qualifications and experience will be required:

• Rock Breaking Certificate / Blasting Certificate
• Shift Supervisor Certificate will be advantageous
• NQF 4 Certificate in OD ETDP 
• Assessor Certificate
• Coaching NQF Level 3 (Advantageous)

 Knowledge, Skills Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years mining experience of which 2 years as a Miner/Rock Breaker or an HRD Trainer
