    Shop Assistant (Seafood)

    REQUIREMENTS
    Qualifications / Skills

    • Matric
    • SAP advantageous
    • CISTECH advantageous

    Experience Needed

    • At least 2 years FMCG experience
    • Seafood knowledge will be advantageous

    Personal & Work Requirements

    • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
    • Honesty, integrity & reliability
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Self-motivated: ability to work with little supervision
    • A willingness to learn
    • Open to change and learning new systems
    • Able to work under pressure
    • Good time management
    • Be able to work sub-zero temperatures
    • Able to work public holidays and Saturdays

    JOB PURPOSE

    • All-round shop assistant to assist in the shop by merchandising, selling products and dealing with customer queries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Merchandising products in the shop while ensuring food safety standards are adhered to
    • Ensuring customers are dealt with in a professional manner and assisting in any requests or complaints
    • Ensuring that health & safety regulations are practiced and adhered to
    • Participate in monthly / ad-hoc stock takes
    • Assist in any department within the shop
