An established brokerage is seeking an on-site Short-term Insurance Administrator who will be essential for delivering high-precision administrative support and ensuring the seamless management of client portfolios. You will serve as a vital link between the firm and insurance providers, taking full ownership of policy lifecycles to maintain the high standards of service and compliance the organisation is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
Policy & Portfolio Management: Facilitate the end-to-end processing of short-term insurance policies, including new business applications, renewals, and endorsements.
Provider Liaison: Coordinate directly with insurance companies to ensure accurate policy documentation and timely response to queries.
Claims Administration: Support clients through the claims process by gathering required documentation and monitoring progress until finalisation.
Compliance & Accuracy: Ensure all administrative actions align with industry regulations and internal quality standards, maintaining meticulous electronic records.
Client Relationship Support: Assist in the preparation of renewal schedules and amendments, ensuring clients receive clear and professional communication regarding their coverage.
Requirements
Proven experience within the insurance industry is essential.
Relevant insurance industry certifications would be beneficial.
Solid understanding of short-term insurance products, terminology, and administrative workflows.
Fully Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of administrative tasks accurately.
