Ensure that production is done according to the Production Plan
Process, HMI and Equipment understanding of pulping and refining steps
Loading and operation of pulper
Handling and prepping of cellulose bales\ Ensure that production is done according to the Production Plan
Process, HMI and Equipment understanding for milling of silica sand
Loading Sand Hopper with FEL
Ensure the correct recipe settings are being used for mill
Start-up, continuous and shut-down activities of the mill
Adjust process parameters for the mill
Refilling of grinding media using forklift
Blending of silica sand (good and bad quality)
Conduct in-line quality tests (blaine, free moisture and consistency) and operational inspections as required
Ensure that material produced are to an acceptable standard and free from defects
Quality checks and inspections
Troubleshooting operation issues and quality defects
Operation the pulper and refining systems
Start-up, continuous and shut-down activities of the pulper and refiner
Is this job for you ?
The ideal candidate must have a completed Matric and possess a FLT Drivers licence as well as a certificate and licence for Front End loader. It would be advantageous should the candidate have a certificate for Overhead Crane Operation.
The candidate will be required to work in confined spaces.
The ideal candidate should have at least two years’ experience in production and have some knowledge on maintenance.
