Simulator Trainer and Coach - JHB at Immersive Technologies

We have an exciting position for a training professional to:

• Conduct training for new and experienced operators
• Use high fidelity simulation training tools
• Manage the day-to-day operation of training schedules and plans
• Reporting to the Managed Services Supervisor and working closely with our regional team, your ability to conduct hands on coaching, training and assessment sessions will be crucial to your success. You will possess experience in mining equipment operation, specifically training equipment operators to be safe, productive and to care for their machines.
• Your proven ability to coach adults to retain skills and apply them to a specific occupation to maximize mining outcomes is critical to the success of this role. Your experience in keeping training projects on schedule will count in your favor to achieve success.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years’ experience in Mining Operational Training
• Understanding of adult learning principles
• Previous proven experience in Simulator Based Training would be advantageous
• Experience on surface-based or underground mining equipment
• Strong understanding of mining best practices
• Effective communication skills
• Dedication to safe work practices
• Multilingual preferred, English required
