RPO Recruitment’s client, a reputable construction company is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Site Engineer for a major solar farm project based in Klerksdorp.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineering professional with renewable energy project exposure to join a dynamic project team on a large-scale renewable energy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Site supervision and coordination of construction activities
Monitoring construction progress, quality, and safety compliance
Managing subcontractors and site resources
Reviewing drawings and technical documentation
Assisting with planning, reporting, and project coordination
Ensuring works are completed according to specifications and programme requirements
Requirements:
BSc or BEng Degree in Civil Engineering
Previous experience working on renewable energy projects is essential, specifically solar farm projects
Proven site engineering and construction supervision experience
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality control, and site coordination
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment
Good communication and problem-solving skills
