Site Manager - Vereeniging at Servest SA

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 & Computer Literacy
• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Must reside in Mpumalanga/Gauteng
• Minimum 2-5 years management experience in mining sector
• Professional individual who can provide and maintain high service and quality standards
• Proven track record in the security industry / Customer Orientated
• Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Clear criminal record
• Ability to work efficiently and under pressure
• Grade A PSIRA Certification
• Knowledge of MHSA is essential
• Investigative skills
• Risk report writing critical
• Driving the Operations strategy daily

Duties & Responsibilities

• The daily running of a site in liaison with the Operations Manager
• Attain and maintain a professional site standard
• Building and maintaining relationships with the client
• Management of staff including recruitment, induction, performance management
• Training and development
• Responsible for all industrial relations and Health & Safety on site
• Report Writing – Monthly reports and incident reports
• Creating site rosters
• After hours site visits compulsory
• Staffing – ensure site is covered as per contractual obligations
