The main purpose of this position is to prepare cost estimates and plans, audit projects, manage construction revenue and costs and administer construction contracts.

• Measurement and certification
• Budget and management
• Contract management and administration
• Estimation
• Staff management

Minimum Requirements

• BTech Quantity Surveying or relevant qualification
• At least seven years related experience in Civil construction industry
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills 
• Proficiency in Quantity Surveying software and tolls 

Knowledge and Skills

• Contract Law and insurances
• Quantity surveying
• Basic Financial reporting and cash management
• Construction methods and outputs, programming and scheduling
• SHEQ legislation and application
• Basic IR and relevant labour legislation
• Key attributes of the role: attention to detail, deadline driven and ability to work autonomously
• Proven ability to manage a team of Quantity Surveyors
• Able to handle conflict and able to negotiate
