Social - First Creative Director - 12 Months FTC at TBWA\ South Africa

Responsibilities:

• Lead creative strategy and execution for multi-platform, social-first campaigns.
• Inspire, mentor, and manage a team of multi-hyphenate creatives (art, copy, design).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Atlanta and global teams to keep creative aligned, innovative, and on-brief.
• Present concepts and guide clients through creative decisions.
• Stay ahead of cultural and platform trends—making sure Dobbino leads, not follows.
• Ensure excellence in both creative thinking and execution, from ideation to delivery.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of creative direction in digital, social, or advertising (agency experience a plus).
• A standout portfolio of attention-grabbing, platform-first work.
• Self-starter who are comfortable working autonomously, disciplined to work alone and remote, flexible to work across projects and platforms and accommodating of USA hours and expectations.
• Proven team leadership and mentorship skills.
• Deep understanding of social platforms, creator culture, and emerging technologies.
• Comfortable creating and directing, leading teams and shoots.
• Enjoy being in the work. WE NEED A WORKING CD, not just someone who oversees the work, passionate about the craft with a good design and aesthetic, enjoy making, whether that shooting, editing, designing or animating.
• Exceptional presentation, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Strategic, agile, and always curious about what’s next.
• Beauty and / or Petcare category experience a plus.
