Social Media Community Coordinator - Cape Town (Fixed Term) at Democratic Alliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the party is responsive online across all digital platforms
• Identifying and coordinating responses to risks and information
• Coordinating community mobilisation efforts and ensuring effective activation of supporter voices at key campaign moments

Minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate
• Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Public Policy, Political Studies, Communications, Marketing, Development Studies or a related field is (advantageous)
• Experience in a social media management related role
• Experience in programme management, event coordination or network building (advantageous)
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, campaign coordination or community mobilisation (advantageous)
• Knowledge of DA Policy
• Knowledge of online community organising principles 
• Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, etc)
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite or Google Apps Suite)
