We are seeking a dynamic and creative Junior Social Media Manager to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and ensuring our clients’ brands stay relevant and ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation and Management: Develop and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and TikTok. Collaborate with the creative team to produce graphics, videos, and copy that align with client goals.
Community Management: Monitor, engage, and respond to followers, comments, and messages to build strong community relationships. Address customer queries on social platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Campaign Planning and Execution: Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns, including paid ad strategies. Track and report on campaign performance metrics, providing insights for optimisation.
Trends and Insights: Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. Share insights and propose ideas to innovate content strategies.
Reporting and Analytics: Compile weekly and monthly reports on engagement, growth, and other key performance indicators. Analyse data to understand audience behaviour and improve content strategies.
Requirements
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in social media management, either in an agency or in-house setting.
Proficiency in social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.
Basic design skills using tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator.
Understanding of paid social media campaigns and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and solve problems.
Team player with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Experience with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut).
Knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing.
Passion for staying ahead of social media trends and creativity in applying them.
