    Social Media Strategist

    As custodian of social media channels, you’ll be responsible for leading the creation of world class social content on a range of social channels. Partnering with content and brand managers to deliver social media content solutions that engages our audience and delivers on overarching communication objectives.

    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    Define channel and content strategies, communication style and oversee the implementation of rollout.

    • Feed into content teams’ campaign concepts with platform specific strategies and content solutions. 
    • Work with the wider team to ideate and develop ideas for exciting new content formats and executions across imagery and videos.
    • Develop calendars that support wider team’s communication schedules and provide updates as required.
    • Develop the influencer programme and identify influencers to work with 
    • Partner with the content team to ensure cohesive application of the brand’s tone and visual language across all channels.
    • Oversee the development of SLA’s to manage customer feedback, liaising with customer service teams and community manager. 
    • Write creative briefs, and provide feedback on concepts and content delivered by our internal team and external contributors.  
    • Build daily/weekly/monthly reports to measure the effectiveness of our efforts to engage our audience, grow our following and foster positive sentiment online.
    • Act as on-the-ground feedback loop to the broader content and marketing teams; feeding insights from cultural moments and movements to trend spotlights and content formats.
    • Constantly monitor social media channels for conversations, hashtags and branded keywords to gauge trends and conversations that could present leveraging opportunities for brand visibility.
    • Proactively respond to the social media landscape to evolve strategies inline with new platforms, features and functionalities and content formats.
    • Manage one direct report; Community Manager

    WHO YOU ARE:

    This job is for you if you have:

    • Relevant Marketing / Communication degree or equivalent.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in social media management and 2 years of experience in social strategy.
    • Proven track record delivering excellent social media content for brands.
    • Obsession with social media and digital content; tuned into platform changes, trends and news.
    • Experience in online reputation management practices
    • Experience with monitoring tools (BrandsEye, Hootsuite, Later etc.) 
    • Experience with project management tools and real-time digital comms platforms (Monday, Slack etc) 
    • Copywriting experience and ability to vet creative based on the audience and channel.
    • Analytical with strong numerical skills for reporting purposes
    • Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively across various levels of management.
    • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
    • An understanding of visual storytelling across fashion & lifestyle categories.
    • Self-starter who thrives in a fast paced environment

    Skills you already have:

    • Experience building core payments solutions working in a fast-paced environment
    • Having a keen eye for detail and simplifying complexity
    • Enjoy working with a cross-functional team, and have an interest in solving challenges in the fintech space
    • Have history of successfully spearheading work of significant innovation and complexity, while developing and leading the strategy
    • Be known for delivering high-quality work while keeping your own team productive, fun, and happy!
