Grade 1: Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (e.g. Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSP. Registration with the SACSSP as a Social Worker. No experience required.
Grade 2: Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (e.g. Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with SACSSP. Registration with the SACSSP as a Social Worker. A minimum of 10 years' appropriate experience in social work after registration as a Social Work with the SACSSP.
Grade 3: Formal tertiary qualification in Social Work (e.g. Bachelor of Social Work) that allows professional registration with the SACSSP. Registration with the SACSSP as a Social Worker. A minimum of 20 years' appropriate experience in social work after registration as a Social Work with the SACSSP.
