Software Developer at Bentley Systems

Your Day-to-Day:

• Develop Linear Analytics configurations, including requirements clarification, design, configuration, solution implementation, test management and testing, documentation writing.
• Liaise with clients and users to collect detailed functional and technical requirements, and to provide resolution to technical issues.
• Design, build, implement, test and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Linear Analytics scripts.
• Design and Quality test code to achieve bug free development.
• Understand and use common data collection methods and protocols.
• Work with linear data from different systems (data profiling, transformation, import and visualization).
• Write technical documentation to support user specific Linear Analytics implementations.

What You Bring to The Team:

• Degree and / or Higher National qualifications related to Computer Science/Software Engineering as well as relevant professional qualification(s)
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID and Test-Driven Development Required
• Knowledge of XML and JSON structures required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Full Software Development Life Cycle practices and agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum Required.
• Communication, problem solving, presentation, and influencing skills
• Team player, able to direct others to participate as part of a cross-regional/functional team and work with business partners and vendors
• Self-Starter, able to take the initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal communication).
• Creativity and Analytical thinking and experience (design prior to coding).
• Understanding of the benefits technology can bring (ability to see the bigger picture).
• Experience with source control management (git) and branching and version strategies.
