We’re looking for a full stack developer experienced in building systems that extend or integrate into corporate financial systems.
You’ll join a team that takes ownership of the systems that power our business, integrating line-of-business solutions into our Cloud-based ERP and other financial systems.
You’ll work primarily within the Microsoft stack (MSSQL, its associated tools, C# and ASP.NET). While the role leans towards backend, it requires full stack proficiency. You’ll join our team in Tshwane.
What You’ll Do
Design, build, and maintain robust systems in C#, MSSQL, SSIS and SSRS. You’ll work closely with business function leads, analysts and other developers to extend and/or support line-of-business applications, services and integration processes. You’ll provide meaningful contributions to our architectural roadmap and future-ready initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
You are not a junior engineer anymore, you take initiative, feel comfortable tackling complex topics and can deliver great software
You have a strong background working with financial systems and feel comfortable talking to financial professionals and can understand basic financial concepts
You take pride in building great software and have an eagerness to learn and grow in your craft
You care about the what and the why, not just the how
You have extensive experience with JS, C#, ASP.NET (pre- and post-Core) and MSSQL
Expertise in crafting efficient SQL and developing effective data models and system designs
Strong understanding of application and web architecture
Proficiency with Git and structured workflows
Bonus Points
Knowledge of Python, PowerShell, and other languages is a plus
Experience with cloud providers such as Azure
Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD in general
Familiarity with data/reporting tools such as Power BI
Familiarity with other databases, for example MySQL or PostgreSQL
