We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Front-end Software Engineer with a robust background in modern development practices. You will play an integral part in a cross-functional team dedicated to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to development, deployment, and ultimately operating each product.
As a Front-end Software Engineer, you will be responsible for translating design mockups into interactive and user-friendly interfaces, focusing on intuitive user experiences web applications. The role is within the web team, who are responsible for all Capitec web properties and more specifically our corporate website.
Our ideal candidate has:
Grade 12 National Certificate (Minimum)
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)
5+ years’ proven experience in front-end software development, project delivery and implementation (in relevant development technologies/language). Experience with modern front-end frameworks and technologies.
Strong attention to detail, capable of translating designs from UX into functional web components accurately.
