    Software Engineering Manager

    The purpose of this role is to lead a number of software Teams in both South Africa and North America.  As the Software Engineering Manager, there will be an emphasis on scalability and a huge focus on strong leadership experience and skills.

    Requirements:

    • Provide leadership to a team of Engineers using React, Linux and Ruby on Rails, micro services etc. (Exposure to Go, Scala, Java, Javascript and/or Python will also be considered)
    • Experience in leading teams of Software Developers.
    • Preferred educational background - BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science or proven track record of exceptional skills and ability within software development.
    • Previous exposure to stakeholder engagement.
    • A track record of developing and managing world-class software products, using agile development methodologies.
