    Solar PV Sales Representative

    Is this you?

    • You are a hard-working, ambitious and honest individual who cares deeply about your customers, the company you work for and making the world more sustainable. You love Solar PV, have worked in the renewable solar industry and would love to grow your skillset specifically in sales. Your main motivation is to learn more, upskill and you are the type of person who looks after and cares for the business as if it were your own!

    What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)

    • You will have the opportunity to work in a tightly knit team of 6-7 people, who will offer you the support to do your job as best as you possibly can, and that is: to sell and bring in the moula and connections, do business development and track utility scale projects! You have had some exposure to 1MW PV systems, but you want more! You will foster good relationships with your clients, developers and you enjoy this because you are a people’s person. And because you have a high EQ, people like you and this makes your job easier to close the deal!

    Where you’ll be doing it

    • The company is based in Johannesburg and your new office is in the Northern suburbs so make sure you don’t live too far away. You have your colleagues around you so there is always something going on and you have support for all your questions from your manager, who is equally as ambitious as yourself. Don’t worry, you won’t be solely stuck at the office as you will be going out to site, meeting clients and finding new ways of bringing in new projects for your company!

    What you’ll need

    • You need experience in PV solar and an engineering qualification. Without it, you will not be considered for this position. You also need very good sales experience and the ability to showcase past successes in closing deals and having a sales strategy. If you have had exposure to PV systems over 1 MW then that is a big PLUS! Obviously you must understand the PV system, that’s a given and an existing network in the solar industry would be the cherry on top or should we say the sun in the modules! ?
