    Solution Architect CPG -Industry

     

    • Drive the penetration and expansion of Schneider Electric CPG solutions into the target region with a focus on Southern Africa
    • Develop new business sales strategies to execute complex enterprise sales
    • Manage the development and presentation of business cases, sales proposals and tenders
    • Build a pipeline of new business opportunities
    • Research and qualify target organizations for potential business
    • Establish relationships across target industries, engage with high-level decision makers and educate buyers on how our solutions will address specific business needs
    • Coordinate, conduct and participate in workshops, user groups, conferences and exhibitions
    • Provide expert pre-sales consultation to the sales force on CPG architectures and end-to-end lifecycle solutions in order to help accelerate sales growth and increase opportunities conversion rate
      • Obtain detailed requirements and constraints from the customer, assist the customer in defining the best implementation strategy
      • Select the most appropriate architectures to meet the customers’ requirements. Adjust and optimize the architecture most appropriate to meet the customers’ needs.
      • Explain the technical and business advantages and disadvantages of the proposed solution.
    • Create value and differentiation by providing system & architecture pre-sales expertise to the customers, where relevant (pre-project consultation, feasibility study, audit…) in a “for-a-fee” mode.
    • Support the customer throughout their procurement process.


    Qualifications
    Background / Experience

    • Candidate must have relevant experience in designing systems in automation/electrical solutions and understands the possibilities and limitations of them.
    • Minimum to enter in the position:
    • Worked as a technical engineering/application design or validation background
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in designing and/or problem solving in industrial automation, electrical and enterprise software sales
    • Understand integrated supply chain environments and associated technologies
    • Understand enterprise asset lifecycle management
    • Minimum of 3 years work experience within Industrial segments
    • Preferable experience with Schneider Electric technologies.
    • Experience within energy intensive industries; Food & Beverage, Pharma.

    • Superior presentation skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
    • Business Acumen
    • Can translate an automation solution into an architecture and system implementation recommendation - customized where required and integrating third party components where required to optimally answer to the specifications of the solution
