Job Description

Responsible for defining and communicating a shared technical and architectural vision across the Agile Release Trains that make up a Solution train (built on OIPA and related software which is hosted on AWS), in order to ensure the solution is fit for its intended purpose and that the design complies with OM software engineering principles. This includes input from and influencing of the software vendors’ strategy and roadmaps

Key Result Areas

• Design the solution to meet the needs of customers and advisors across the ROA markets
• Assure feasibility, scalability and sustainability of the solution
• Design and evolve the solution architectural roadmap required to enable backlog delivery
• Manage the non-functional requirements and compliance to OM software engineering principles and guardrails
• Maintain the architectural runway of the solution
• Design and prioritize enablers to deliver features
• Enable continuous integration and deployment in line with OM standards
• Manage suppliers for value (including strategic partnership)
• Qualifications, Skills And Experience Required
• Bachelors / Masters Degree in Information Technology
• Azure Dev Ops and Kubernetes
• AWS Certified Solution Architect
• Experience in delivering solutions using the SAFe Agile Methodology
• Insurance industry knowledge
• Experience with Oracle Insurance Platform Admin or any other insurance product admin system
• Track record of delivering large impactful solutions and working with executives to deliver business goals
• 5 year working experience in technology solution delivery
