    Solutions Architect

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement solutions for BitCo and customers.
    • Managing customer solutions lifecycle from sales right to implementation.
    • Required to transform high-level customer network designs and create low-level technical details enabling the solution to be implemented and supported.
    • Accurately capturing customer’s requirements and optimally mapping those to BitCo Telecoms' products and services.
    • Confirm technical feasibility and support deployment strategy of proposed solutions.
    • Provide technical validation of solutions in conjunction with engineering teams.
    • Provide bespoke solutions (CSS) in collaboration with engineering teams where standard product sets are not available.
    • Contribute to new product design.
    • Comprehend business strategies and requirements and develop necessary designs and plans to ensure projects and solutions satisfy those needs.
    • Act as a contributing member of the project team from project inception to completion.
    • Actively listen to client problems and needs to implement that information when creating solution plans.
    • Provide advice and make decisions about which technologies would be suitable to use for various projects.
    • Consistently monitor the scope of projects.
    • Collaborate with internal departments and management to develop budgets and timelines for internal projects.
    • Assess and evaluate risk as required.
    • Maintain an understanding of how individual work and decisions fit into the broader organizational picture.
    • Keep skills updated and remain proactively aware of happenings and current events in the industry.
    • Produce training material for BitCo Online Academy.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members

     

    Qualifications

    • Customer-focused with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within a customer-facing environment
    • Experience with capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure architecture.
    • An understanding of horizontally and vertically scaling distribution networks.
    • The capacity to support service delivery functions in a complex multi-site, national environment.
    • Project management methodology.
    • Exceptional communicator - verbal and written.
    • Communicate complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences without technical skills.
    • Work with the client, sales team, business partners and related practice area leaders to prescribe a complete solution to meet project goals as well as long-term needs.
    • Maintain skills in area of expertise and stay up to date with industry and technology trends.
    • Provide training, technical guidance and support to internal departments.
    • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction at all times.
