Solutions Architect - Digital Transformation at Praesignis

Job Description

• Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation programme.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for designing scalable technology solutions across digital channels, APIs, backend platforms and enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security and technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions for complex digital initiatives.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop solution architectures covering digital applications, APIs, integrations and backend services.
• Define integration approaches across digital channels and enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical guidance to development and delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, risk and technology standards.
• Identify technical dependencies, risks and potential delivery constraints.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Engineers, Product teams and Enterprise Architects.
• Support the transition of approved designs into implementation.
• Contribute to technical documentation, solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
• Support the delivery of resilient, scalable and production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect within a large enterprise environment.
• Proven experience delivering complex digital solutions.
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration and API-led architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend systems and systems integration.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time processing.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of enterprise security and technology controls.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Experience within financial services, banking or insurance is highly advantageous.
