Sourcing Coordinator at Truworths

Job Description    

• Join South Africa’s leading fashion retailer and play a key role in managing the end-to-end sourcing and manufacturing process, from costing through to delivery. It requires consistent execution, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
• While the role provides exposure to international sourcing, success is driven by the ability to stay the course through repetitive cycles, resolve issues under pressure, and deliver reliably over time.This role is best suited to individuals who are comfortable with structured, process-driven work and are motivated by long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities    

• Manage the full sourcing and manufacturing lifecycle, from costing through to delivery
• Execute against defined critical path timelines, ensuring on-time delivery
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms within defined parameters
• Build and maintain consistent, long-term supplier relationships
• Ensure accurate execution of product briefs and specifications
• Maintain high levels of administrative accuracy and system integrity Monitor product, pricing, and market developments
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and manage delivery risks Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and execution processes

Qualifications and Experience    

• Experience working with international suppliers or manufacturing environments
• Strong administrative and organisational capability in deadline-driven environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities over sustained periods
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate Experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or a related operational role preferred
• Willingness to travel as required
