    Sourcing Specialist (Commodity Lead- Facilities)

    To partner with Business by providing support with procurement negotiations and processes.

    Responsibilities:

    • Source, negotiations with vendor and business
    • Provide guidance to business, for example on discounting and contracting
    • Take responsibility for the end-to-end management of RFP and RFI processes
    • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of current systems and processes with a view to increasing efficiencies; implement changes and monitor the effectiveness thereof

    IT and Market Data

    •  Manage the billing, allocation and sourcing of markets data services
    •  Report on compliance and non-compliance regarding usage to service providers (Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.)
    • Co-ordinate billings for existing contracts
    • Sets up new contracts
    • Negotiate with vendors and apportion allocation based on usage and agreed recovery models with in business
    • Facilitate the procurement of services according to focus area, e.g. BT services or source, negotiations with vendor and business.
    • Provide guidance to business, for example on discounting and contracting
    • Take responsibility for the end-to-end management of RFP and RFI processes
    • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of current systems and processes with a view to increasing efficiencies; implement changes and monitor the effectiveness thereof
    • Participate in budgeting processes from both a commercial and financial perspectives in terms of understanding and planning for business demand and priorities and deciding with the business how items or services are to be acquired
    • Report any policy breaches and associated Risk to the relevant BU’s
    • Initiate dialogue to build professional working relationships with all stakeholders, displaying excellent abilities to listen, advise, influence negotiate and present at all levels
    • Lead and facilitate difficult conflict situations into consensual agreements
    • Integrate opinions and information provided by various sources to make strategic decisions
    • Adapt communication styles to meet the needs of different audiences
    • Continually scan the industry to identify opportunities to create strategic partnerships with key individuals and bodies
    • Find opportunities to leverage relationships and promote knowledge sharing, ideas and insights

    Qualifications:

     Relevant Degree

    •  3+ years’ procurement, IT sourcing and financial experience
    •  Experience in negotiating large-scale contracts in a CIB environment would be preferable


    Technical Pre-requisite

    •  Able to read and interpret contracts Knowledge of clients’ BT requirements
    • Need to understand contracts
    • Microsoft Office with Advanced Powerpoint
