Spec: Knowledge Management & BI Analysis at BCX

Core Description

• To investigate, analyse, research, plan, acquire and document user and data requirements. Maintain solutions and scripts to ensure the delivery of accurate, timeous, and meaningful performance, forecast reports and commission information for BCX stakeholders.
• Provide statistical analysis, forecasting, predictive modelling, simulation, and optimisation to discover trends, opportunities and threats.

Key Deliverables / Primary Functions

• Manage databases to ensure optimal availability and performance
• Implement Business Intelligence solutions i.e. Microstrategy Hypercards
• Design quantitative advanced analytics models that answer business questions and/or discover opportunities for improvement, increased revenue, or reduced costs
• Design and implement high value and high performing knowledge and information management and business intelligence solutions for the organisation ie Business Tracker, Debtor’s analysis, sales performance tracker, customer analysis, financial analysis and BU specific reports.
• Manage information integrity across all reporting outputs.
• Manage and maintain Ci.Net to measure, analyse & generate monthly Commission output for Payroll
• Maintain Master Data Manager for Go to Market and customer owner information as well as manage and update customer and employee hierarchies to ensure accurate Sales Force and financial reporting data.
• Remain current with developments in advanced analytics technology and methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• NQF 6: 3 year Degree/ Diploma/ National Diploma in Informatics or Finance
• OR NQF 4: Grade 12

Additional Education -Preferred /Advantage

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years Information Management and Business Analysis experience within a Sales and Business Support Systems environment
• Or
• NQF4 (Grade 12) with 7 years Information Management and Business Analysis experience within a Sales and Business Support Systems environment

Certifications

• Professional Memberships in Relevant Industry
