Job Description

Main Purpose

A qualified artisan having special training and experience. Also introduces equipment improvement and building machines.

Accountabilities
- Dismantled, fitted & assembled and calibrated field instrumentation
- Translate implement , optimise functional specifications into control philosophy
- Performed planned maintenance on control systems and SCADA/PLC equipment
- Fitted, inspected, tested, repaired and maintained to standard control systems and SCADA/PLC equipment
- Installed and commissioned new control systems and SCADA/PLC equipment
- Advance VSD knowledge
- Ensure optimisations and continious improvement of processess using control systems
Qualifications/Requirements
Key skills / Requirements
- 5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment
- Relevant Technical Trade (N5) with Electronics and instrumentation subjects
- Shift work
- Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations
