    Specialist Commercial Business Analyst

    Role Purpose

    The Service Management Delivery Specialist delivers activities across the business cycle phases: sell, build, run. Commencing with customer engagement and identifying business growth opportunities based on the customer needs and capabilities. They create a commercially viable business case, overseeing the transition of business cycle phases into BAU and ensuring the service is delivered as per agreed SLAs and KPIs through regular reporting and formal updates. The Service Management Delivery Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in continuous improvement of the customer service, managed via service improvement and service development plans. And they focus on managing the customer relationship to ensure they receive the contracted service to the standard required throughout the contract term. Typically reports to the Service Management Delivery Manager.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    This role will integrate all required data sources across the Retail operations division & other business areas and ensure timely availability of clean, complete and accurate data and delivery of the data in the required format

    • This role will design, implement and maintain performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms for various requirements at a Divisional, Group and EXCO level.
    • The role will integrate all the data reports across the Retail Operations division to provide a consistent and integrated single report for analysis purpose
    • This role will formulate together with the operational business unit and FBP viable business cases to validate future activities and associated costing models, including the monitoring of the delivery against the business cases to reconcile forecast and actual activity, both financial and operational performance metrics.
    • Assemble and summarise data to structure sophisticated reports
       

    The ideal candidate for this role will have

    • Matric/Grade 12 (Essential) and
    • 3 year degree essential in commerce, economics, Finance or related field.
    • CIMA qualification an advantage
    • A minimum of 3 years’ data & reporting and/or business analysis experience is essential with exposure to:
    • Design, deliver, maintain and update a fully integrated data base of validated and accurate information
    • Assist Retail analytics team with data analysis and extracts and provide relevant input to aid in the resolution of business problems
    • Responsible for all Retail related reports and ensure all reporting are delivered timeously in the correct format to the correct business area with relevance to the business problem/requirements.
    • Operational Retail/Support experience highly beneficial

    OR

    • A minimum of 5 years’ data & reporting and/or business analysis experience is essential with exposure to:
    • Design, deliver, maintain and update a fully integrated data base of validated and accurate information
    • Assist Retail analytics team with data analyses and extracts and provide relevant input to business problems
    • Responsible for all Retail related reports and ensure all reporting are delivered timeously in the correct format to the correct business area with relevance to the business problem/requirements.
