Specialist, Data Management at Standard Chartered Bank

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for building the organisations data collection systems and processing pipelines. Oversee infrastructure, tools and frameworks used to support the delivery of end-to-end solutions to business problems through high performing data infrastructure. 
Responsible for expanding and optimising the organisations data and data pipeline architecture, whilst optimising data flow and collection to ultimately support data initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology
• Post Graduate Degree in Information Studies
• Masters Degree in Information Technology

Minimum Experience Required:

• 8-10 years experience with data tools: Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra. Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: SSIS, , etc. Experience with AZURE, AWS cloud services: Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc. Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: SQL, Python, Java, C++, Scala, Power BI etc.
• 8-10 years experience strong analytic skills related to working with structured and unstructured datasets. Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management. A successful history of manipulating, processing and extracting value from large disconnected datasets. Extensive experience in, building data pipelines on-prem and on Azure Cloud, building data products on-prem and on Azure Cloud, as well as solid experience on on-prem and Azure Cloud data architecture, data modelling, dimensional modelling  and application of DevOps/DataOps Frameworks.
