Specialist: Natural Adabas Developer | Europcar, Bruma JHB at Motus Holdings Limited

Position overall objective:

• The primary purpose of this role is to perform system application programming and related analysis tasks. This includes evaluating requirements, conducting technical feasibility studies, and designing, building, documenting, and implementing application systems. The role also involves enhancing existing systems and contributing to the overall stability and performance of mainframe applications.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Natural/Adabas development.
• Strong experience with BATCH and Online processing.
• Proven track record in designing, constructing, deploying, and maintaining mainframe applications.
• Experience in code reviews, especially mentoring and reviewing code written by junior developers.

Minimum Qualification:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification
• Grade 12

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

• Develop and maintain application software and documentation.
• Ensure adherence to development standards, procedures, and methods.
• Conduct impact and feasibility studies.
• Perform requirements analysis and design application systems and interfaces.
• Code, test, debug, and implement systems and program modules.
