Specialist: Recon and Compliance at MultiChoice

Purpose of the Position:

To check and ensure all creative material for sponsorships and commercials across all DMS platforms comply in terms of quality and content.
Manage all reconciliation & transmission files for all channels across SA and Africa are exported from all broadcast areas and are automatically converted into Landmark on a daily basis

Key Performance Areas

• Compliance
• Review all new creative for new flighting codes created in Landmark system
• Ensure that all creative material complies to set standards per Territory
• Review all creative for content that is offensive to culture, gender, race and religion - refer to Management for approval
• Be aware of any competitive content that is competition to Multichoice platforms and product offerings - refer to Management for Approval.
• Comply with regulatory requirements as per BCCSA
• Ensure that all commercials have no bad language or expletives
• Channel Pricing & Break Verification
• Ensure accurate rates are populated for various DSTV channels
• Communicate program & rate changes to Contracting Team
• Communicate with Programming Team for accurate breaks structure & programming titles
• Daily Recon & Reporting
• Manage all reconciliation & transmission files for all channels across SA and Africa are exported from all broadcast areas and are automatically converted into Landmark
• Compare actual inventory to contractual stipulations across all DMS channels
• Measure and record all discrepancies across all DMS channels between planned and actual airing
• Record all commercials which have failed and obtain corrective action from the Contracting administration team

• Build good relationships & deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate and enable cross functional and effective working relationships with other relevant departments within the MCA Group
• Deliver relevant reporting contracts to all clients and stakeholders

Qualifications

• Diploma in Compliance related studies

Experience  

• 3-5 years’ experience
• Relevant system knowledge
