    Specialist Reward

    Job Purpose

    • The Reward Specialist is responsible for providing end-to-end analytical, researched, and administrative support on all key touch points within the remuneration and benefits portfolio.

    Education

    • Grade 12
    • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, Business Psychology, or other related field (NQF Level 6)

    Job Experience

    • 3 - 5 years related remuneration experience
    • Proficient in HR technologies including experience in HRIS and payroll system
    • Experience as and HR Analyst advantageous

    Licences / Mandatory Training

    • Valid drivers licence (Code EB)
    • SARA Registration (Advantageous)
    • GRP advantageous

    Key Performance Areas

    • Administration of all MSA Execs and Human Resources employees and assist in the management of expatriate appointments
    • Processing of the Bonus Share Incentive Scheme and liaising with the Trust to ensure alignment on governance principles
    • Assist with management on Mondi pensions (model updates).
    • Communication and management of stakeholders in relation to 3rd party vendors with regards to benefits and payments
    • Assist in performing annual market survey submissions and external benchmarks
    • Administration and processing of the annual increase for bargaining and non – bargaining unit employees
    • Administration and processing of the annual performance incentive scheme and Shop floor performance bonus
    • Ensure all reward tools are current (updating estimate calculators in line with the tax year update, creating purchase requisitions)
    • Accurate and timely preparation of reports
    • Annual Statutory Submission: EEA2&EEA4 and COIDA
    • Accurate and timely month-end payroll processing
    • Benchmarking of roles to market and drafting of employment contracts
    • Keeping abreast with research and market trends
    • Ensuring all reward processes comply with company policies and/or related business rules
    • Effective internal stakeholder management

    Job Competencies / Attributes / Skills

    • Must be computer literate
    • SAP knowledge
    • On-time and accurate submission of statutory reporting
    • 100% accuracy of payroll data submission
    • Expedient stakeholder query management
    • 48 hour turnaround time for benchmarking, forms management and queries
    • Ensure compliance, proper record-keeping and accountability
