Your Profile Requirements:

•  Degree in Social Sciences 
•  Degree or Diploma in Project Management
•  Advantageous - Training in Monitoring & Evaluation
•  5+years relevant work experience in Social Development
•  3 years' experience in Project Management
•  Proven data management and programming experience
•  Knowledge of statistical analysis software and skills in quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis
•  Demonstrated ability to design and manage Monitoring & Evaluation activities. 
•  Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse team

Key Performance Areas:

Leadership and Supervision 

• Supervise MSA system usage
• Lead for internal and external reporting activities 
• With the Stakeholder Manager; facilitate the monthly work plan reviews and updates 
• Provide guidance in knowledge management 
• Identifying partners and exploring possible models for collaboration

Programme design and development 

• Provide technical oversight in developing and implementing evaluation activities 
• Provide support through training staff to strengthen the monitoring and evaluation components of the CSI programme  

Monitoring and Evaluation 

• In collaboration with the reporting team, provide management of M&E activities in MSA
• Liaise with staff (as relevant) to ensure that lessons learned and recommendations from M&E activities are used to modify existing programmes and in the design of new activities
• Assist with the evaluation of current indicators and the identification of new ones in liaison with the Monitoring & Evalution committees/relevant support structures
• Monitor data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting ensuring that data is Audit worthy.
• Maintain a quality monitoring system in MSA Online to enable the generation of reports to management and other stakeholders.
• Ensure program staff are using data collected to make informed and timely decisions related to program implementation.
• Impact assessment and Programme Value adding – using the data collected

Capacity building and training 

• Support Land Manager and SE team to increase their technical capacity in the area of  data collection and management 

Reporting Responsibilities 

• Compile data and prepare reports for submission to the MSA reporting platforms.
• Assist with ad hoc Stakeholder Manager reports/information requests.
