Speed Master Printer (Fixed Term Contract) at Novus Holdings Ltd

Job Description

• Novus Print: Montague Gardens is seeking to appoint 4 x  Speed Master Printers on a 3 Months Fixed-Term Contract to operate machinery within the Sheetfed Division. The successful incumbents will report to the Shift Leader - Press.

Key Duties and Responsibilities    

• Responsible for preparation, running (printing of magazines and commercial work); fault finding, colour and registration control of lithography presses.
• Operate the printing press at set production rates and standards.
• Preventative maintenance.
• Maintain general health and safety standards in the production environment.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained.

Educational Requirements    

• Matric or equivalent 
• A qualified Artisan in a relevant Lithography trade 

Experience Requirements    

• Experience in operating a multi-colour Komori press with perfector and in-line coating
• Experience in operating a Heidelburg Speedmaster black and white press with perfector or a multi-colour Kamori Press with perfector and in-line coating
