    Sports Administrator

    Job Summary

    Our client, a prestigious Estate Country Club in Ballito, is seeking a proactive and organised Sports Administrator to join their team. This role involves managing various sports-related activities, including organising committee meetings, overseeing ProShop operations, and handling gym and tennis bookings. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless coordination with coaches, manage golf memberships and execute corporate Golf Days flawlessly.     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Organizing and scheduling committee meetings
    • Taking minutes during meetings and ensuring timely distribution to all committee members
    • Overseeing retail operations within the ProShop, including maintaining shop neatness, visual presentation, stock levels, and supplier interactions
    • Managing Gym and Tennis bookings, ensuring facility cleanliness, and coordinating with coaches and personal trainers
    • Collaborating with the South African Golf Association (SAGA) by adding new members, ensuring accurate scores, addressing handicap discrepancies, and handling retail tribe newsletter content
    • Providing information to potential Golf Memberships, processing new membership forms, and managing renewals
    • Ensuring smooth execution of corporate Golf Days, including organizing logistics, coordinating with event coordinators, and liaising with sponsors
    • Monitoring member and guest experiences and taking necessary actions to provide excellent customer service.
    • Handling member reservations for golf course guests
    • Assisting members and guests with golf-related inquiries
    • Being flexible to work outside normal hours as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Matric
    • MS Office
    • Qualification in Sports Management or related.
    • Valid driver’s license
    • 3 years’ relevant experience
