Responsibilities
Develop program specific NTEI file containing pertinent part number information and scope of engineering changes.
Prepare standard documents for all milestone reviews. These include SAR/OESAR/Supplier Industrialization readiness reviews, Green filed Brown filed site assessments / Blue bars during ramp-up phase with a detailed understanding of non PPAP part pedigree and risk mitigation for each milestone.
Manage and report-out on supplier PPAP, APQP and Schedule A
Drive resolution of all yellow and red deliverables with cross functional teams. (PD/Purch/NML/STA site)
Lead Supplier Champion process through GPDS selection process, supplier training and cross functional reviews.
Responsible for supplier part quality and delivery during launch. Drive resolution of SQ AIMS. Lead containment through 8D with robust ICA/PCA actions.
Conduct onsite evaluation visits for Priority commodities as per GPDS supplier engagement process for new programs.
Support Capacity Purchasing team in capacity studies interfacing with suppliers and Ford cross-functional teams.
Review supplier incremental tooling work plans compliance to requirements
Drive capacity uplift actions implementation with suppliers in-line with the GCP study requirements. Incremental tooling, lead time and DTG
Track and govern supplier ramp-up plan with a PPAP3 date post MP1 through Blue Bar SAR reviews.
Review supplier Capacity Analysis Reports (CAR) for compliance to capacity requirements
Drive robust Supplier Failure Mode Avoidance through PFMEA, SCCAF, CP reviews, Manufacturing feasibility reviews and Health chart deployment as applicable.
Drive Supplier manufacturing health chart compliance and support development of new health charts
Drive suppliers for Special process compliance with the support of STA Technical Specialists and Industrialization Reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science/Engineering or Academic Equivalent
