Standardization Engineer at FLSmidth

Job Scope / Responsibilities

• Work with minimal to no supervision.
• Responsible for design integrity of project.
• May review other team members' projects.
• Responsible for on-time, on budget, quality of engineering packages for individual projects.
• Work on standardization, product improvement, and development efforts of product line (Value Engineering).
• Support technical development of members within the team.
• May assist in development of design standards /guides, guide specifications, and design control procedures.
• Analyse complex design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures.
• Review and approve design drawings including 3D.
• Review customer specifications.
• Participate actively in team environment and contribute to successful completion of team goals.
• Perform and review mechanical calculations.
