Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999) and Treasury Regulations and related prescripts. Computer literacy. Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Planning and organizing skills. Knowledge of PERSAL and BAS systems will be an added advantage. Ability to apply policies and legislation; to work under pressure; to work individually and in a team.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum three (03) years' National Diploma NQF Level 06 in Accounting/ Finance/ Cost and Management Accounting/ Financial Management. A minimum of two (02) years' experience in a financial management environment. A valid driver's license.
DUTIES
Provide the administration of salaries. Capturing supplementary payments, allowances, and deductions on PERSAL. Updating the file of faulty and rejected transactions. Issue payroll reports and ensure return in real-time reconciliation of tax, clearing of suspense accounts. Clearing of PERSAL exceptions on BAS. Authorizing salary-related enquiries. pressure
