Stock Controller - Gauteng at Ferrero

About the Role:

• The Stock controller is to oversee and control the Receiving, Storage, Picking, Returns, Counting and overall condition of the Packaging and Raw Materials at Ferrero Walkerville.
• Always be present to coordinate stock takes when and where needed.
• Support to drive and motivate the team as we strive for excellence and 100% stock accuracy

Main Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving of materials and ensure the materials are recevied in the correct condition and quantity, as well as put in the correct bin locations.
• Safe storage and H&S Principles are allied and practiced.
• Oversee, check, and confirm all picking documents, as well as the physical stock before issued to Production.
• System (SAP) movements are done in accordance with picking, returns, put-aways etc.
• Returns from Production is to be checked, counted and verified before the stock is moved into the warehouse as well as on SAP.
• Daily & Weekly Cycle counts are to be done and reported on to further drive stock accuracy.
• Good housekeeping in accordance with Ferrero standards and requirements and over stock condition is to be maintained.
• Be in possession of a valid Forklift & Reach truck driver’s license.
• Support and backup to the Warehouse Coordinator when needed – Goods Receipt, reports etc.
• Utilize the staff and equipment supplied in order to achieve deadlines and tasks given.
• Daily reports to management.

Who we are looking for:

• Logistics Diploma equivalent
• 3 years of experience in similar role
• Computer Literate. (Excel, Work, Outlook, SAP)
• Understand Stock management and stock movement in the manufacturing environment.
• Effective record keeping.
• Good Communication skills - Reading writing speaking – English
• Goal orientated and attention to detail.
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with management and staff at all levels
